Benjamin Rakhman

Benjamin Rakhman President and Founder of Body Armor USA and VIP Executive Security grew up in Long Island, New York. After working for various security companies as a New York State Security Officer, he found his passion as a Personal Protection Specialist. After graduating from the Executive Protection Institute, Class 64 in 09', he was inaugurated into the Nine Lives Associates, a fraternity of security professionals worldwide. Through networking and his unparalleled integrity, Ben became Regional Account Manager for The International Protection Group, and its subsidiary company The International Protective Service Agency based in New York City, NY. He also became an assistant instructor for the Executive Protection Institute and active Red Team member for Tony Scottie’s Vehicle Dynamics Institute alongside Joe Autera.

After spending years operating as a Personal Protection Specialist (PPS), Ben enrolled in a variety of extensive training courses and received his Security General Topics Instructor, GLOCK Armorer, and Armed Security Officer licenses in various states, with a concentration in tactical emergency medical training. Ben currently oversees operations for countless security companies in the New York City area and serves as a local asset and client liaison for out of state security companies.

After working with hundreds of public and private clients in a multitude of security operations, Ben's passion for protection work took on an added element, protecting the protectors. He became the CEO of Body Armor USA, holds a state body armor contract, and provides personal protective equipment to the Law Enforcement, Military, Security, Corrections, and various other public and private sector agencies. Ben also serves as the sole US Distributor for PPSS Group's body armor and cut, slash, and bite resistant clothing. Ben takes great pride in all aspects of the protection community. His primary goal is to find the latest and greatest products and technology and make them available to industry professionals while expanding his personal security company.
